About Mike Garley
What benefits do Patrons get? By becoming a Patron you’ll get a ringside seat with early access to upcoming projects. You'll see work in progress, get a chance to have your input on projects in development, receive digital copies before anyone else, and you’ll also get access to previously published material! Patrons at $7 and up will also get comics/books/games delivered directly to their door. There's detailed breakdown of Patron levels below.
New to Patreon? If you're not sure what Patreon is then I'd describe it as a mixture of Netflix and Kickstarter - you pay an ongoing pledge in return for ongoing rewards/content. It's great for creators as it gives us financial peace of mind and we can also interact with backers directly and tailor content to suit them. Patrons (someone who backs a Patreon) get greater involvement with a creator and their project(s) as well as getting updates, perks, and rewards before anyone else.
PROJECTSBy supporting this Patreon you'll also be supporting - and have access to - projects such as:
The Samurai Slasher is a modern slasher – bloody, brutal, and not afraid to have some fun along the way. After three graphic novels, a critically acclaimed one-shot, several short stories, and a survive your own adventure book, this unstoppable killer is no closer to slowing down...
Below you can see some examples of the previous series with the new series starting soon - Patrons have already started to see some work in progress pages!

ArcWorlde A one-shot fantasy story set within Warploque's amazing ArcWorlde universe. The brilliant Russell Mark Olson is already working away on the pages. We’ve created a really fun adventure story and I’m really excited to see it finished. This is pretty much a dream project for me. I get to work with a fantastic company that produce top tier models, and if that wasn't good enough I get to do it with Russell, who is someone I've been looking for an excuse to work with for quite a while.
In addition to these projects I'll be working on/sharing work from various other projects. You can see more projects on my website Mikegarley.com
PATRON TIERSBelow are a list of the current Patron tiers - please note if there is anything that you would like added, or if you think anything in unclear that you can message me at anytime to discuss them.
One of the Cool Kids ($3 per month) - In addition to everything at the Follower Patron level you’ll receive digital copies of any old or new projects, and you’ll receive a thank you in any upcoming projects. You’ll have access to an ever-increasing selection of digital copies of my work (new and old) including Samurai Slasher books 1-3, Eponymous, and Radium to name just a few. There are currently 500+ pages. I am not allowed to share certain projects (such as Wallace and Gromit, and Adventure Time) but I am often able to negotiate the rights to share projects on here (such as 32 Kills, thanks to Comichaus). In addition your name (or nickname, pet’s name, etc…) will be thanked in the back of upcoming projects when and where appropriate. The longer you’re a Patron, the more projects your name will appear in. (The Samurai Slasher part two - Artwork by Cian Tormey).
The Curator ($7 per month) - In addition to everything in the One of the Cool Kids Patron level you’ll also receive upcoming projects signed and delivered directly to your door! P&P is covered within your $7 per month. (The Samurai Slasher part one - Artwork by Kristina Gee).
Wish you Were Here ($15 per month) - In addition to everything in the Curator Patron level you’ll also receive the occasional bit of merch, the odd little game, and an occasional cameo too! Merch includes bookmarks, badges, posters, stickers, t-shirts, etc… And you can have a character named after you in an upcoming project - please note this will only be when appropriate and may not be in every story. Your character will get a small cameo. (Our Final Halloween #1 - Artwork by Michael Lee-Graham).
The Legend ($25 per month) - In addition to everything in the Fun and Games Patron level you’ll also receive the occasional meatier role and any bigger games that I create! Become a main character in an upcoming project - this is limited, as the opportunity won't come up in every project! (Samurai Slasher part two - Artwork by Caspar Wijngaard).
