I've set this up primarily because people say they want to contribute. I don't do this for a living, and don't want to. Any income from Patreon will be used to fund things for content, e.g. buying stuff for teardown/review, travel costs, renting transport for large equipment and the like.

Content-wise, things will be business as usual - teardowns, design videos, reviews etc. I haven't done a monthly option as I only do videos when I have the time, and there is something I think is sufficiently interesting, so frequency will continue to be somewhat random. 
Note that you can set a cap on monthly donation amounts.

I'll only add 'normal' length videos to the Patreon feed, not short quick tips, announcements etc.
Subsequent parts of multi-part videos will usually not be charged individually unless there is substantial new content/subject matter.
