Who am I?

I am an illustrator, cartoonist, and all around goofy badass. I specialize in editorial and children’s book illustration, happily making work that is colorful, thoughtful, and charming. Clients include NPR, Live Nation, The Bold Italic, Colorlines, and The Asian American Literary Review.

Why Patreon?
I am a freelance illustrator, but I am interested in creating personal art & comics to share with the greater public. I want to make art untethered from the need to pay bills. I want to tell honest stories, ones that make other's feel heard, seen, loved. And to do this, I need support and encouragement from friendly folk like you! Patronage contributes to the physical printing of zines and prints. Isn't that neat?

What do I get?

Access to my comics and illustrations! I'll make new goals and projects for you to support. Sometimes they'll be illustration packages, which include thumbnails, sketches, color pallets, and the final artwork. Other times they'll be full fledged comics! You can always opt for digital viewing, or hold it in your pretty hands with the physical copy.

Using Patreon is an experiment, but yes! Lets do it! Thank you for your support!

Goals
$5 of $500 per illustration & comic
The printing of a new zine to debut at SF Zinefest on September 4th.

I am currently working on short story using words from the song "Lucky Strike" by Foot Ox. This piece will be included in a compilation zine with previously completed comics (see image below). I am hoping to print it with a risograph with 2-3 colors. Patronage would contribute to printing an edition of 50. Thanks for looking!
