Hi there! My name is Sarah Messerly, also known as StarshineBeast or MintyMothchild. You may know me from tumblr, deviantArt, or FurAffinity. I also run the ask blog Starberry Patch, for an original character based on the My Little Pony universe, and do original artwork and am the director as well as the animation assistant for the Ava's Demon Dub.
I'm a freelance artist and I mostly work as lead artist on a visual arts creative team or creating drawings/illustrations of characters for original or existing works. While I'm happy to do the work I've been given and really do enjoy it, I would like some of the freedom to work on other things. I would enjoy having time to drawing fan art and working on my upcoming webcomic more often. However, making time for that when I make no income from it leaves me no choice but to work exclusively on private commissions. I would love to devote more time to draw for myself again.
Right now, I'm focusing on commission work but would like to open myself up to livestreaming sketch requests. However, at the same time, I feel that I should be paid for my time and the work, so I've decided to create goals based on what I think would be fair for opening certain periods of time during the month for sketch requests.
The sketch requests themselves would feature characters drawn as ponies, animals, humans, or anthros/furries. The limits would be that all material would be SFW (safe for work - meaning no fetishes, kinks, or saucy material), any canon requests must be based on things that I'm familiar with, and that each request would be limited to one character. The requests would be open to anyone and will be done in the order that they're received. A person who has had a request already must wait until 10 more people have gone to make a request again.
Currently, the Patreon in a state of "pay what you want" as a general support. Your support will allow me to draw fan art, practice to improve my skills, expand my portfolio, update Starberry Patch, work on the dub team, and develop my webcomic. It will also advance the goal of having livestreaming sessions where I allow open requests. You can pledge as much as you want to support me, whether that's $1 or $5,000,000.
