Wow! Seriously, I really appreciate any support. Your reward is my undying gratitude.

$3 a month gets you a movie request *every month* for as long as you are giving. Seriously. For now, I'm limiting this to a maximum of four people. Consider this a super-thanks for anyone who is an early adopter. <3

There are going to be some limitations on requests, but not many. I literally reviewed watching paint dry once. I'm serious.

...really? You are going to give me $10 a month for this? Well damn. I'll figure out some kind of Misan[trope]y branded stuff for you. Maybe magnets? Whatever it is, you'll get one. Also, I'll list you / your product / your website on the sidebar of Misan[trope]y, and give you a bumper in each episode of The [Plot]opsy Podcast.

About Gordon "Misan[trope]y" Maples

Since 2012, I have run the Misan[trope]y Movie Blog, a place where I spotlight a wide range of notable movies, including cult classics, famous flops, forgotten grindhouse flicks, and some of the most infamously terrible films ever to grace a screen.

Unlike many bad movie blogs and podcasts, the purpose of the content at Misan[trope]y is to be educational: to help illuminate the social impacts, the histories, the contexts, the meanings, and the often tumultuous creation processes of these films. My opinions and reviews of the films are always secondary.

The [Plot]opsy Podcast was started as an audio companion for the Misan[trope]y Movie Blog, specifically to dissect and analyze movies that, for one reason or another, are considered to be failures.

Both the Misan[trope]y Movie Blog and The [Plot]opsy Podcast are passionate hobbies of mine, and I am happy to be able to deliver them on a consistent basis to my niche audience. However, both do incur costs, including hosting and equipment.

Because of my niche audience, I don't ever expect to be able to bring in significant funding through advertising to cover these costs. That said, if I have some fans out there who are willing to toss in $1 a month to cover the general costs of production, it would be a huge boon to the site, and would go a long way towards at least easing the financial strain of this delightful pursuit. :)
