Originally from Aotearoa (NZ), Bridget has been touring with bands out of the UK since 2013, taking the stage at a number of iconic global venues and festivals, including Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival, Boomtown, Sono Centrum, Latitude, Estragon Club, Subsonic, Auckland Arts Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, and she is incredibly humbled to be endorsed by Audix Microphones USA.

Bridget's booty-shaking soul-pop is all about bringing people together and making people smile, with her musical roots spanning everything from hiphop to hardcore to musical theatre. Bridget is joined on stage and in the studio with a line-up of killer artists from across Europe, including Lyle Barton (UK) on keys, Radovan Brtko (Slovakia) on drums and Digby Lovatt (UK) on bass. 2018 sees the release of Bridget's first solo EP, "The Tendency Toward Complexity", due for release this Northern Hemisphere Summer.

“The universe began about fifteen billion years ago, in almost absolute simplicity, and it’s been getting more and more complex ever since. This movement from the simple to the complex is built into the web and weave of the universe, and it’s called the tendency toward complexity. We’re the products of this complexification, and so are the birds, and the bees, and the trees, and the stars, and even the galaxies of stars…” – Gregory David Roberts, ‘Shantaram’ (2003)

This EP marks the first release of music under Bridget’s own name, and features the art and magic of instrumentalists Lyle Barton (keys), Digby Lovatt (bass) and Radovan Brtko (drums), joined on backing vocals by Laura Owen-Wright (NZ), Meg Cavanaugh (USA) and Lily Moharrer (UK). Also featuring the artwork and photography of @wolfmumma (Wales), Jez Tozer (UK) and @am_amick (NYC).

With three full-length tracks and a sprinkle of other treats and stories, “The Tendency Toward Complexity” is a throwdown capturing a mix of heartfelt smiles and inescapable grooves. Recorded at Wax Studios in East London, the EP is being mastered by the incredible Mandy Parnell (Bjork, Sigur Ros, PJ Harvey, Aphex Twin) at Black Saloon Studios.

Every little bit counts. You are now part of the club. Which means a) you'll get access to whatever musical goodies I send out into the world, and b) you are just a little bit more awesome than you were 10 minutes ago. I mean, I didn't think it was possible, but it is. You are. Congratulations. Thank you for believing in me.

Let's chat. Every month. Drop me a line, and let's talk about the things you like about what I'm doing, and the things you think that I could be doing better to make INDHE work as well as possible. You clearly have a real keen interest in helping me and INDHE be successful, so I would LOVE to hear your feedback. And also, y'know, just gossip about whatever too.

Straight VIP up in here, dude. Wow. So, you'll get the emails, and the links, and the goodies, and the chats. Plus, whenever I'm in your hood and playing a show, I'll put you +1 down on the door. You are playing a pivotal role in my ability to be a successful, creative person, and in making INDHE a reality. So I want to make sure you get to be there to share in the joy and energy of the stuff I do best.

Named INDHE Patron - for the win! You clearly see the value in what I'm doing, so you will be personally thanked on all relevant INDHE material. Or if you like, you can pledge this on behalf of someone else, or your own group or organisation - so long as your brand / ethos aligns with what we're up to, then we will be happy to thank your chosen patron instead. Any problems with that, and we can figure it out, I'm sure! WELCOME to the team!

NB: Any "Named INDHE Patron" pledges will be exempt from the BIG Pledge total, as these funds will be invested into the building and management of INDHE itself.

I guess this is where we know that the Patreon is working!

First of all, if we've made it this far - THANK YOU! This means you guys are happy to support me directly as a creative person, so that I can keep giving you music to enjoy, while building INDHE to help more creative people make more things for us ALL to enjoy as well. This will already make a massive difference to the amount of time and energy I can throw at making the best music and the best things for INDHE too!
