Hello, and thank you! That's the first thing I want you to see here, my most sincere, heartfelt, over-the-top, gushing, almost-weirdly over-the-top thanks. So... THANK YOU!

I'm a creative person working in Portsmouth (UK), creating paintings, drawings, toys, accessories and running events to help local creatives meet, network, collaborate, learn and socialise.

Chances are that you're only reading this because you've been to one of the events that I run. I’m extremely passionate about the value of providing local opportunities for people to explore and share creative skills, and meet like-minded people. I’ve been so proud to see so many collaborations, friendships, businesses and relationships bud and grow from the events that I run, and I really want to continue to be able to provide opportunities for our local creative scene to grow.

However, as austerity continues to bite, and the creative infrastructure in our city continues to wither, with fewer accessible galleries, increasingly out-of-reach funding streams and other pressures, it’s becoming more difficult to be a torch-bearer for culture in our area – I put together most of my events off my own back, and I have to work in a supermarket to support myself… So, I'm writing cap-in-hand, asking for whatever you can spare each month to help support the work that I do in my local area.

Any donations, of any size, will help me to keep developing my work, and providing the inclusive opportunities for networking in Portsmouth that I’ve become known for. If you enjoy seeing the work that I produce, or you’ve ever attended one of my events, or been inspired by one of the projects I’ve been involved in, I’d really appreciate your support.

Although supporting the creative arts is a really worthy cause, it’s not a charitable one, so you’ll be getting good bang for your buck – look at the different levels of patronage available to see what you’ll be getting back from your investment in our local culture.

Again, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.

6 of 250 patrons
When I reach 250 patrons, I'll host a very unique exhibition of work from as many creative people from the Portsmouth area as possible. Patrons will obviously get invited to an ultra-exclusive pre-private view with access to better drinks than the public event.
