About Me

My name is Mahogany Dawn Montgomery and I have some big ideas I want to disiminate from my world to thee world. I want to profit from playing and having fun and I want our dialogue to facilitate what that looks like. That's my dream, let's make it happen!

I want my vision to unfold organically, not to expect it to manifest with limitations that reflect limitations that no longer reflect who I always have been and am now able to understand. I want to create a space where that statement, in the last sentence, makes perfect sense.

Through a series of videos where I share what inspires and captivates me via a series of reflections and analysis on a wide range of things. I want to challenge myself to share with you all sustenance in new ways, as you help me sustain myself.

Vision
Live in a world where economics doesn’t overshadow compassion and empathy.

I am building a platform for artists, patrons and community members to intermingle in a Hybrid Art-Sustainability Learning Center environment focused on community stewardship via art and information sharing.

In one year I see a consignment shop remixed with an art gallery with vibrant and expressive marketing campaigns that welcomes neighbors and visitors with its divergent strategy of collaborating with artists to highlight different perspectives worldwide. In five years, I see a internship and volunteer partnership program that allows for multilevel community engagement from consumers, community and artists via a variety of short term projects that fall under our mission and vision. The messaging will consistently iterate ‘how’ to engage with different perspectives of humanities objectively and/or with compassion. The short-term projects will inform long-term ventures.

I plan to grow the business by connecting broadly with my audience online with social media and the website for a full detail of services. I consistently want to contribute at least 20% of profit to donating books to incarcerated peoples, college students and families with children. I’d like the books donations to be a combination of recommendations and opportunities for the youth and incarcerated people their choice in literature as the program evolves to have a sustainable model for distribution.

I’d like to get a retail space lease and focus on development of marketing strategies, continuing to develop strong relationships with artists.

I do not want to sell the business for profit, however, I would like to develop a program to help artists I work with have creative ownership, for the employees to have retirement and personal and professional development incentives as a part of the employment package. Also, for my retirement I would like to use my income from the business to have an estate that creates opportunities for some of my other ideas to develop, continue to enjoy life and my legacy to have a platform for growth.

Business Overview (or Mission)
My mission is to cultivate and be curator of cooperative healing spaces within our global community by encouraging creativity, experiential and peer learning, adventure, innovation, STEAM, history, philosophy and consulting plans all designed as a cocktail to inspire the audience to engineer their unique gifts into positive tools for life.

My company is unique because it presents art, fashion and culture from a female black Pacific Northwest Millennial perspective. In addition, it is an immerging B-Corp which is an innovative, new sustainable business model that will be favored by the average, socially conscious Seattle-lite.
