I am a Violist and Yoga Instructor interested in body mapping and yoga for musicians.

As a 200hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) with the Yoga Alliance I use my knowledge of the way the body works in my approach to teaching yoga and viola lessons. I strongly believe that any practice which aims to strengthen the mind-body connection will greatly improve the way you approach playing your instrument, but I have found specific exercises and stretches that have helped me more than others.

The purpose of this page is to share my knowledge in a way that is sustainable for me. The content here varies from body mapping and functional anatomy to my own yoga and merge classes designed to counter repetitive movement.
