Until I reach a more sustainable amount every month, I have to do a lot of outside work to get by. That means that precious time is taken away from Mr. Lovenstein. My update schedule has been shaky lately because of all the extra work I'm doing to keep my head above water. Hitting at least $500 a month means I can spend more time making sure I get three comics out a week.
Patron-exclusive Colored Comic every Sunday.

Every week, on top of the comics I draw for my site, I'll draw a colored comic strip exclusively for my patrons similar to the Sunday comics you see in newspapers!
I'll produce one short animation every month!

Taking in $2,000 a month means much more free time for me and that means that I can work on projects outside of comics (cartoons!). I love animating, but it's very time consuming. I did one test animation last year just to see if I could do it. I'd love to be able to do more for you guys!


Less ads on my site and a new comic series!
$3,000 per month
More money coming in from Patreon means I'll have to depend much less on ad revenue. Being able to remove a couple ads from my website will make it less cluttered and a more enjoyable experience for all, thanks to my patrons!

I also have an idea for a new comic series with an actual storyline that I'd like to explore. $3,000 a month means more time to pursue this series. It will stand separately of Mr. Lovenstein and probably have its own website and everything!

WHO IS JAYELL RUSSELSTOVER?

I'm a web cartoonist and animation enthusiast. Most of my free time is spent on Mr. Lovenstein, but I also dabble in cartoons, painting, printing, web design, games, and other curiosities.

I studied fine art at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and drew comics for The Pointer college newspaper. I've also been featured on explosm.net, fml.com, collegehumor.com, and a featured guest at Daisho Con two years in a row.
