About 3 years ago my friends gave me the chance to host a certain little tabletop game called DnD. Instead of taking the road well traveled I took the jungle route. We played a little game I came up with that was heavily based on DnD, it wouldn't be wrong to call it a homebrew. The games name was TOME. It was based off a fan fiction. A fan fiction I wrote, based on a conversation I overheard a few friends having about literature based DnD where each character and their magic reflected a book that they embodied. I called it a short story because I didn't want to admit I had written a fan fiction. At the very least it had some good concept. TOME the tabletop game did not.

Talk about hiccups. To keep a long story short 4 iterations of the game, some conglomeration of the whole mess into a single cohesive very much tabletop, very much not DnD game and you have Hidden Layer. My current project. If all goes well I'll let some other skeletons out of the closet, but for now let's keep this focused on Hidden Layer.

It's a game set in a cyberpunk world after humanities fall from power. There are some great new mechanics and designs inspired by videogames that I can't wait to share!
