About Sun Spot Syndicate


Once every millennium, Sun holds a huge gathering of the planetary spirits. While Sun has found herself down in the dumps recently — including a relationship with Terra (Earth) that is on the rocks  — she hopes that the get together will brighten things up. However, after Terra ruins her event with his reckless behavior, Sun decides it's time to play the field and chooses a new planetary partner.


My Only Sunshine is currently available in version 0.95 for free on Itch.io, but we need your help to make the full version as stellar as possible. Here's the master plan:

  • Touch-ups to existing Sprite Art
  • Many all new CGs
  • Gallery enabled
  • Touch-ups to existing GUI
  • Addition of the final 3 main routes
  • Release on Steam for Completed Game
  • Epilogues and additions for currently available routes
  • Full Voice Acting (Goal)
  • Bonus routes and paid DLC extras (Goal)

When completed, there will be a total of 9 (that's right, 9!) main love interests in the game, not counting any bonus routes or content. For now, there are 6 unlocked.
