About

Thank you so much, you have no idea what you even being here and reading about me means to me.

Most of you will know me from places such as The Internet, where I frequent Twitter and Facebook with my sparkling presence. I’m a single mother trying my damn hardest to make the world learn, listen, get better. I love talking about culture and community.

I run a space for feminist types, Femmo Collective, providing support and referrals to services or just a place for people to talk and share their experience. We have just celebrated our fourth birthday and I couldn’t be more proud. As “femmo” we have raised over $30,000 for various causes including Fremo Birthing Centre in Kenya, BRISSC (Brisbane Rape & Incest Survivors Centre) and Mudgin Gal, an Indigenous women’s centre in Gadigal (Sydney) amongst others.

I run a whole bunch of other communities, called Femmo communities. Femmo Bands, Femmo Plants, Femmo Food and the most important one is a Femmo support group that provides assistance, care & referrals as well as a community space. You can get access to these spaces when you become a patron if you wish.

About me -

I have contributed to various publications such as SBS Voices & SBS Sexuality, The Big Issue, The Guardian, VICE and other spaces.

I talk at things - most recently Melbourne Writers Festival Sex Work on the Page & The Brisbane Feminist Festival Hacking Cyber Sexism.

If you have learned something from me over the years I will ask you to consider supporting me. I spend the majority of my days educating those around me, discussing things, trying to use my platform to pass the mic to those that need a space to speak.

If there is money left over from my living expenses I donate it directly to other marginalised community members in dire need of assistance.

What else do you get besides the feeling that you have supported a hard working former refugee, now migrant settler working hard to help people around her? I will write pieces that give insight into my world, or discuss topics at your request.

I will also do a monthly Q&A where you can ask me all your brains desires.

Here is my bio for formal purposes -
