I've been in games industry for over 6 years starting from small Flash animations, 2D projects for Nintendo DS, hidden object quests and match3 to interior 3d renderings and finally realtime 3D projects. As a technically minded person and cg generalist I've been concentrating a lot of information concerning every aspect of game art creation which I can share.
At the most part it concerns different software usage. Adobe Flash, Photoshop, After Effects, 3ds max, Maya, Cinema4d Bodypaint, 3d-Coat, headus UVlayout, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Ndo, DDo, XNormal , Unity are the main apps in my main list. I'm not counting several proprietary 2d game engines and software I don't use anymore for some reason like Softimage, Poser, Daz Studio, etc.
Some could say it's too much but I always like to have right tool for the right purpose at hand.
