About

My name is Dr. Natasha Bajema, aka @WMDgirl. I’m a national security expert, futurist, podcast host, and published fiction author. I produce fiction and podcasts on national security and technological themes including nuclear weapons, biological, and chemical weapons, artificial intelligence, gene editing, biotechnology, advanced robotics, and nanotechnology.

I’ve been an expert on national security issues for over 20 years, specializing in weapons of mass destruction (WMD), nuclear proliferation, terrorism, and emerging technologies. I’ve spent more than ten years working for the National Defense University where I taught an elective course to senior military officers on WMD and film and led a multi-year initiative on emerging technologies and WMD. I am currently the Founder and CEO of Nuclear Spin Cycle, a start-up company focused on producing creative content with national security impact.

My past work experience includes extended assignments in the Pentagon, the Department of Energy and the United Nations. My publications include two co-edited volumes entitled Terrorism and Counterterrorism and Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism, both of which were published by McGraw Hill. I have an M.A. in international policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a Ph.D. in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

Producing podcasts and fiction novels involves a number of costs such as web hosting, graphics, editing, and of course, my time to create shows and write fiction. By being a patron, you’ll help cover the expenses for producing new content.

Thank you for your support!
