Hi there! I'm NateWantsToBattle.
I make videos on YouTube relating to video games and anime... MOST of which are in music form! From taking some of your favorite songs and rewriting the lyrics about video games, to making creative arrangements of songs you know and love, to even creating my own original music about gaming, I make all sorts of content based on whatever my weird little brain can come up with.
The point of this Patreon page is not to make myself extra money. Rather, it's to make money that I can sink back directly into the channel to raise the quality and frequency of my videos. When a channel grows in subscribers, it should also grow in how awesome the content is. I personally feel that the audience size of my channel has grown so large that it has become something I can't handle on my own. Money raised from Patreon will go to things like upgraded equipment, instruments and other things that I will personally use to make videos look and sound better. It will also go to other people who will be helping with the channel. Starting in 2015, I'm going to have other people help create content to upload. Editors, professional producers and cinematographers, animators, etc. I want to pay these people what they deserve for their hard work and as much as I would love to simply pay all these people out of pocket, it's not a viable option and will eventually take its toll. This Patreon will help bring all of that upgraded content to life.
If you become a patron, you're guaranteed to access my patron stream, which is pretty much a social network in which I'll be giving updates that won't be seen on public places like twitter or facebook. Depending on how much you pledge, you can get perks such as seeing my videos early or even hanging out on Google+ every month! It's like a club for everyone who's extra passionate and supportive of my videos. The Patreon will only count music videos/animated projects/videos that took a bunch of hours to make.
