First off, thanks for reading!

What's the deal?  I aim to release two things under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license each month:

  1. at least one JavaScript code object (targeting either the browser, or Node.js)
  2. at least one pixel art sprite template, or some swappable sprite parts, or tiles

Why the NSFW tag?
My sprite templates have nude layers, in case your project has an adult nature, or you want to create a skin-tight outfit, or you want a character wearing, say, shorts and a cropped top.

Who am I? In brief, I'm a professional vagabond with a self-signed doctorate in hard knocks. I've followed cyberpunk to its natural conclusion (I'm a heavily damaged IT-industry survivor who is technically homeless in Seattle).

What are my goals? Avoid the next bout of actual homelessness. I'm on a state-run disability program that gives me housing until June or July of 2019. I can't work with others due to mental health status. I have no family, few friends, and no local friends. I really want to leave Seattle, make some stuff that people appreciate, and tell some of my stories via retro RPG.

More walls of text desired? Here's the much more wordy version.

And, remember these words:

Going Somewhere With This, Trust Me On That™

Releases Thus Far

By Month

January 2019

January code: Slicer25.js calculates a 25-slice plane, tells you which slice contains your coordinate, or whether the coordinate falls into a specific named meta-zone such as top, center, right-bottom corner, etc.
January pixel art: "NPC Alpha" is a buff dude in a sprite template, plus three "parts" layers (hat, hair, beard), all in one file

Tiers
Thousand Islanders
$2 or more per month 0 of 1000 patrons

If there were a thousand of you, I'd be free of the entire disability system (and stigma), avoid becoming homeless again this summer, and probably even be able to escape Seattle. I thank you very much and I hope my releases help you.

The 300
$10 or more per month 0 of 300 patrons

If 300 people sign up to this tier, I would definitely be able to escape Seattle. If you join this tier, you are a lifesaver.

This tier entitles you to one "support instance" of some kind each month. If you're a programmer that means I'll dedicate at least one or two hours each month to focus on a bug of your choice, a future feature you want to see finished sooner, or to help you with something you're stuck on, in or closely related to my work. If you're using the artwork, I can answer your questions, give advice, make specific improvements to a past sprite, let you pick one or more details of a future sprite release, or some such thing. If you don't make a support request for a month they do not exactly stack up, but I am willing to be flexible in such cases :) DISCLAIMER: This doesn't mean I guarantee to fix whatever you point out that month; not everything can be itemized to a $50 item! Some things are far too big for either the time scale or the price tag on this tier.

Dat Bribe Tier
$100 or more per month 0 of 5 patrons

This is for people who want me to release more stuff or who want to have significant influence on what I choose to release.  I can't please everybody every month, but on the other hand, I like to think each of my releases is worth a good bit more than this :)

Unicorns
$500 or more per month 0 of 4 patrons

This is for people who can afford it and/or who need me to keep working. Thanks.
