Content and media is one of the unsolved problems of today, in the hands of only a few platforms. newpid is a new format with mechanisms focused on collaboration in order to solve problems of current social media by design. The goal is to give control back to readers, focus on smaller groups, create fair attention distribution models and human driven content curation mechanisms instead of algorithms. Currently I am working on an open source version of the prototype and content that outlines how a 10x better social media platform could look like.
