I'm making this for love of this beautiful new programming language. But I have hosting costs, and website registration costs, and especially a time cost. Even a relatively short weekly podcast takes a few hours to research, record, and produce—good editing is no joke! Thank you all so much for making those costs more bearable (and for helping me feed my ravenously hungry daughters)!

Your name in the show notes as a sponsor for each episode of each month of your sponsorship (but only if you want!), and the gratitude of other new Rustaceans for helping me help them learn!

You also get some bonus content from time to time – outtakes I don't publish elsewhere, and early access to full length versions of episodes I split up into parts.

A mite more Rusty
$2 or more per month 20 patrons
Everything in the first-level tier, plus access to custom feeds! Get m4a or ogg instead of mp3 in your podcatcher if that floats your boat!
Getting kind of Rusty
$10 or more per month 20 patrons
Everything in the lower tiers, plus your name listed on-air at the end of each episode of each month of your sponsorship. People will hear your name and think, that's a person who likes helping people learn Rust! (but only if you want).
There's Rust everywhere
$25 or more per month 4 patrons
You are the sponsor of sponsors. Truly. You will be heralded by all generations as the woman or man who made New Rustacean possible.

Everything in lower tiers, plus your name will appear in radiance* on a dedicated sponsors page on the website, in the show notes, and be sung by a children's choir at the end of each episode for each month you sponsor—and the website listing is permanent. (Okay, not the choir bit; and of course, only if you want.)

*HTML blink tag not included.

So much Rust
$50 or more per month 0 patrons
Everything in the lower tiers, plus: Specify a topic! I'll let you pick a Rust topic for me to cover in detail. You'll also be listed as a sponsor on-air and in the show notes, and mentioned as the source for the show topic (but only if you want!).

Caveats:
  1. I retain editorial discretion, so if the topic is something I really don't care about, I may ask you to pick something else (but it's pretty unlikely).
  2. It has to be something new, or at the very least a substantially new take on something if I've covered it before.
Goals
$360 of $500 per month
This becomes sufficiently valuable I can afford to do it weekly!
