About Next Gen Nerf

Next Gen Nerf is not about creating better blasters; it's about cutting edge technology and how it can transform the way we enthusiasts participate in Nerf wars or HvZ games. Tinkering with electronics requires tools that aren't inexpensive and it requires a lot of money up front to buy PCBs and parts (and spares for when you inevitably fry something). That's where patrons like you come in. Every dollar pledged removes that much more of a cost consideration from my design process, and when I don't have to worry about how much the parts will cost, the sky is truly the limit (until someone starts shooting darts in outer space). Even if you don't have the resources to contribute financially, I am always looking for new ideas and new ways to make cool stuff for me and all my fellow foam flingers, so feel free to reach out and I'll try to respond promptly. Remember: the best ideas are the ones that solve problems no one even realizes they have.

I don't want to subscribe just yet, but I do want to help contribute to your work. What's the best way to do that?
I would be eternally grateful if you were to buy me something from my Amazon Wishlist.

How do I buy stuff you've made?
I'm still figuring this out, but for sure there will be a way to buy things once I complete my first project. Eventually, once I have my production process in place, I hope to open an Etsy store.

How often do you complete projects?
My engineering mantra is that everything costs twice as much and takes twice as long as you think it does. As such, I have no particular timeline for any particular project, but I am always working towards the completion of at least one project. By pledging to be a patron you will get regular updates so you know things are moving.

Are your designs open source?
I am not releasing my designs to the public at this time. That said, I am always open to answering specific questions and providing technical information for those who are curious. Joining the Enthusiast tier is a great way to access that.

What if there's content I want to see that isn't just more projects like videos or tutorials?
By all means, let me know! I'm always open to connecting with the Nerf community in new and interesting ways.

Where can I find more information on the professional work you've done?
The best place to do that would be my professional portfolio.
