In 2016, I finally realised one of my big ambitions in life. I graduated from university with a degree in design. It took a lot of time and effort on my part, but also a lot of patience and faith from my family. Going back to university at the age of 30 with 3 children under the age of 3 (plus an amazing husband!) was probably a bit nuts! but here I am, 4 years later with a degree and a lot of experience that I hope to build on for the rest of my career.Having spent just over a year working full time and trying to manage a growing family, I have decided to take the plunge and try and make it as freelance as possible. The ultimate goal/ dream is to be able to support my family financially, through doing a job that I love. That job is graphic design and illustration. And I hope to be able to do that job from home, so that I can spend more time with my ever growing tribe.
I do already have a website, which gives you an insight into what I have done so far. This will be updated more regularly. I also have an etsy shop and am available for comissions.
Why Patreon?Patreon lets users donate to projects regularly, contributing to their growth and development. Its not the same as kickstarter or gofundme, where you donate towards one large goal, but rather a way of "tipping" your favourite online creators. Your support and contributions will allow me to pay my bills, buy equipment, such as pens and paper and spend more time at home with my family.
