Here are some topics I have discussed on my show:

I think
the uniting theme is the peculiar ways we experience and shape reality, and how some people manage to shape the subjective realities of others. Or it's something like that.

I've noticed this project feeds on attention. The more attention I pay to it, the more fun it is for the guests and the viewers; and the more views, comments and subscriptions the videos get, the easier it is for me to do more.

Here's my theory: money, time and attention are all somehow similar in their nature; and so the dynamic that's true for attention, could probably also work for $$$.

To test this, I just spent a thousand bucks on a really good mic and two beautiful metal boxes with buttons and knobs and blinking lights to go with it:

It had an instant effect: not only the sound got better, but recording itself got much easier and more fun. I'm excited to schedule new interviews and am thinking of trying to do monologues.

So now I wonder: what if the people who have been compelled to pay this thing their attention, would also pay money, answering my monetary investment with theirs? It would probably start a similar cycle: I'll buy more stuff for the show, the show will get better, more people will want to chip in > > >

I also have plans for a Russian podcast, and then a marriage between the two—imagine the mutant meanings we could create by bringing the trippiest thinkers of the Russian and English worlds into one mix.

I have other other ideas as well.

Anyway: I also write (1, 2) and draw (1, 2) every now and again. I think I'll be posting sketches and notes and various drafts, which I'm not comfortable sharing with the Big Internet, here for the Patrons. The first one will be a story about dogs, dead people, and the heartache of the impossibility of communication.
