Hi! My name is Jose. Some people know me as Nilvou, but I, myself, don't like the name, but honestly, WHO CARES?

I started making real short clips with my best friend probably around when I was in 1st grade... They were really weird, I remember I used to film with my laptop camera, and then, when I got my first phone, in 5th grade, a Blackberry Torch, we used to film there. The phone would allow you to pause recording which was perfect because I had NO idea how editing worked at all. If I messed up during recording, we would have to start all over again.

One day, during the time the iPhone 3G or whatever it's called came out, I was at my parent's friends house, and I was using her phone in the YouTube app. I remember I searched up some Justin Bieber song and I sang it and I told the kids around me to shut up and I asked if they liked my singing. I was showing off my videos, and I left the video open and the phone locked like that. When my mom took the phone, she unlocked it, and saw my video. I remember I was in my friends room and I think my friend walked up to me and said my mom is calling me and she was watching my video or something like that. I heard them laughing as well, so I guess they sort of liked it. She told me I had to delete my channel and I was a little kid showing around my closet, my room, and my house (I didn't know, obviously) I told her how Jason (my friend who got me started with Roblox and YouTube) that he had a YouTube channel as well, and she told me to tell him he has to delete it too. I got grounded, I told him, he got mad, and he deleted his channel. After that I was afraid to tell my parents of me doing new things that put me out in the internet because I didn't want to get in trouble. My parents are from Cuba and my mom was raised in a barn. She would never understand my reasoning and see it as a threat. As of today she's been living in America for 15 years and she still has broken English, yet her job is filled with American people who speak English. I started a channel again, secretly, called BrewingSims. I was in 5th grade, yes, so my previous videos were all made on my laptop, and during this time, my dog was just a little puppy. I remember that the camera app would have filters on it (like Snapchat today) and I would have so much fun on it. During this time as well, I did not like Roblox, as my friend Jason showed me and played. I thought it was some stupid army game like Call Of Duty (his character was dressed like an army guy), and me being the person I am, I was currently playing foopets, a game where you can have your own dog/cat, and playing Sims 2 on my playstation, and I also had the Sims 2 deluxe game with nightlife and celebration pack, I tried to play it on playstation (because that's what I had) and it didn't work. I installed it on my dad's computer but it was too old and laggy, the game would crash and it simply didn't work. My mom used to work at Walmart, she's been working there since we moved to America, and I remember seeing the Sims 3 commercials on the TVs at the electronics section and I wanted to get it. So I did, my mom obviously hated the game and didn't want me playing it. But I was her only son, and of course I was sort of spoiled. So moving on I got a new computer and I got Sims 3 on my computer. I didn't even know how to play it, I remember my first time playing on my laptop that I got for Christmas. I spent most of my time making a toddler, and I made some random people I can't even think of. I didn't know how to play AT ALL, I do remember my first house though. I didn't know how to place beds in build mode, so I had just one singular bed in the living room filled with people. I wasn't able to find a bed for the toddler, and eventually it passed out on the floor and I'm like "ohhh so that's how it sleeps". I didn't know that there were other outfits you can change, so when I saw my sim change into his sleep clothes and I saw underwear, I was completely freaked out. My best friend who was like 3 years older than me, Yunia, had a good laptop, and I remember, I think actually before I got my own laptop, she had a Toshiba and I brought my disc over and she installed it on her computer. It was way less laggier and I was so excited to play on her computer. She actually basically stole it from me (not really), she kept the disc, and I wasn't really able to play the game, for months. We made our account on the Sims 3 page, I don't remember it, but it was probably called something like joseyuniasims3. We got in an argument one day and she threw the disc at me and I got it back. Then the first expansion pack came out, World Adventures, and I remember seeing the box of the game and being like "eww there's a bald guy", and my friend's mom who was adult seeing there was two people kissing on a bench and knowing I wasn't supposed to be looking at that was looking at me funny. I installed the game on Yunia's computer of course, and I remember playing by myself, I think I was in Egypt and Yunia took the computer and a guy was flirting with me and I was like "ew stop that stop talking to him" and she was like no and preventing me from stopping it. My world adventures, we discovered custom content. It was AWESOME. We installed a WHOLE load of people we thought looked cool in the Sims 3 exchange page, with cool hair and make up and clothes. I remember making myself and my wife and uploading it to the page. Since we did install random people, we got a lot of CC we did not want. For example, we got invisible pants that basically allowed you to see the female sims private part. And this wasn't something that you just see once. If your child ages up to a teen or whatever, they usually ALWAYS have no pants on. We weren't like "ooooh ;)" we were literally scared and terrified of it. We would cover the screen when we would see it and immediately change them. We also had those weird shirt vampire thingies, if you played the Sims 3 and had CC you would probably know what I'm talking about. It was a shirt meant for adults in the kids clothing and when you would wear it, it would come out all glitched and scary. This gave us nightmares. I basically got the stuff packs and expansion packs, it was really awesome and a great childhood for me. And around this time, I was playing Roblox and being a regular 9 year old looking for a girlfriend that lasts 2 hours.

Mentioning again the new YouTube channel name, I came across the word brewing, I thought it was cool. So I made the name BrewingSims, cause why not. I made the channel to make Sims 3 and Roblox videos, and real life videos. I didn't know how to record on my computer, but Roblox did have an in-game recorder you can use, and that's when I made this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9pYOM78BKo
I had a video that I recorded on my blackberry, of me, as a vampire, drinking the blood of my butler. It was like 10 seconds and you can hear so much background noise of my TV and laptop. Did I mention that my puppy chewed up the laptop's charger and my parents bought me a new one that only left my computer on 1%, and if it unplugged my computer would die. I also had crumbs probably at the bottom of my computer and it was really loud and it overheated, so I got one of those fans you put under. I remember making a video with my friend about getting an iPhone 5 in the mail, unboxing it, throwing away the case that came with it, and then dropping it, but we didn't drop it, we lightly put it on the table 3 inches away from air, and pretended like it broke and horribly acted like we were freaking out. At the end of the video my friend said "and this is why you don't take the case off of your phone." That's all what me and my friend made, he was my neighbor, so he came over everyday. "Wanna make a video?" "Wanna make a video?"
"Wanna make a video?"
 "Wanna make a video?"
 "Wanna make a video?"
 "Wanna make a video?"
Was a FAQ. And yes, we made a lot of videos. We even made a grass commercial. We were also OBSESSED with legos. We played with those all the freaking time. It got to the point when we were 'roleplaying' and wanted kids we would take their legs off and pretend they are 'naked' and I called it 'woohooing' (I got it from the sims obviously)
On Roblox, I was a fan of this girl Bethany Frye, who was a person who would draw Roblox characters. I was a major fan and watched her videos constantly. (She's inactive today sadly) I stalked her and went to her game and I got hacked, so I recorded her lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IR0W21RCVTA
I learned about Hypercam and I recorded my Sims 3 video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0Gftm9Dh9A
I remember my friends would gather together and we learned about the monetizing feature (we had no idea you had to have a bank or anything like that). We weren't able to figure out we would make if we made videos together, there wasn't a solid answer on YouTube, and there still isn't. I was inactive on YouTube and checked back to see I had 800 views. I thought I went viral. I told my friend and I was like wow... Imagine how much money I would have made from that..........
I stopped using my YouTube channel, my friend moved out of the neighborhood and I didn't have anything to do. :(

In Summer 2015, I started getting into designing on Roblox. I had a lot of fun, and I told myself, while making my first shirt, if this turns out good, I will keep doing it. It turned out, so guess what I did.
I had this old HP computer my parents got at a black friday sale at walmart for probably like 200 dollars or cheaper, with monitor, desktop, mouse, keyboard everything included.
I was a little kid, I didn't have any money, nor could or would my parents afford to get me all the packs for the Sims 3, so I learned how to download cracks and I had all the expansions. I was super happy.
When I was inactive with Roblox, I was super active with Sims 3, and vice versa.
Moving on, I decided to make tutorials on YouTube for Roblox. I was very shy, I was using a trial of a recording software, using a $2 dollar mic my parents bought a VERY long time ago, and I made super horrible tutorials and owned a group called PEARL, and designed.

For my 13th birthday in 2015, I got my very first gaming computer.
I made tutorials, tried to make funny videos, and what not. My first ever gaming video was me playing 'Framed', part 1 has 200 views, still, after two years, and the 2nd part has only 100. At the time I was playing on my alt account because I was banned, for who knows why. I had a lot of fun making videos, so I kept making them, and this is when I created my first, very inappropriate, Roblox ghetto character called "Shavera". I've ran out of ideas for that character as of today, but who knows if she'll return.

My YouTube channel was doing pretty good. After 2 years, I realized I could get paid for it, so I got set up and started receiving just a little bit of money. Time passed by, and I'm pretty happy with what I do and I devote a lot of my time on it.

I've gotten tired of Roblox, and I've decided I want to make Sims 4 series, reviews, gameplays, and what not, because the Sims 4 community has much more opportunities and I can produce way more videos easier and faster. Previously, I was using cracked versions of the Sims 3 and 4. With my YouTube money, I deleted all the cracks I had and purchased it myself. I was only able to buy the two new packs, the vampire pack and the bowling pack, and also the romantic garden pack, but that was it and I realized how limited I was now.

I've decided to make this Patreon because I have amazing people who support me, and wish the best for me.

The reason I have made this is for me to purchase more Sims game, buy better equipment, aka a better mic, webcam, and I actually want to get a new computer as well, but that's way in the future.

In no way do I want to put this in your face, and it seems childish of me to ask people for money, but if you would like to support me, I would feel more than happy to. I don't know how this works yet, but when I figure it out, I wanna pick people and send PERSONAL thank you letters PHYSICALLY mailed to you, with probably something cool, and a signature, or something you can request and if I would be able to do it.

I can promise you that the money I make through here is NOT going to benefit me in real life, but it will help me benefit you in delivering better content. Sorry I made this super long, I just thought my little story was sort of interesting hehe :)
