I am a science illustrator and natural history artist working in Alaska. I want to share the beauty and stories of the natural world with you here. You can travel along with me as I explore the forests, rivers, tundra, and glaciers around my home. I started this Patreon page to connect with supporters in new ways and to connect you with the places that I love. I will share field sketches, illustrations, as well as stories and discoveries as I research and learn about the natural world.

Any level of support makes a big difference to me. I live off a modest income from my art, illustration, and teaching in an off-the-grid cabin on the Nizina River, outside McCarthy, Alaska. Your support enables me to spend time embracing and learning about this place and to make work to share with you. At lower levels, I will create digital content - blog posts, tutorials, and downloads. At higher levels, I will send you things in the mail.

Thank you so much for being here and for your support! I have some fun projects planned coming up. I'm looking forward to spending time on the Nizina River, putting in a garden, harvesting wild plants, and exploring the forest around my home. I am also hiking the Chilkoot Trail for two weeks in July as an Artist in Residence and working as a faculty member for the Juneau Icefield Research Program (JIRP). I'm excited to take you along with me on those adventures.
