Hi! I'm Noah Caldwell-Gervais. Over this past summer, the incredible generosity of the people supporting my Youtube channel has allowed me to work on it full-time, giving me the best (and biggest) summer vacation of my entire adult life. I'm incredibly grateful.

But I have to get a day job again. Unfortunately, I cannot sustain the pace needed to make YouTube my full-time gig, and my only source of income. It's not fair to my viewers, and it's not good for my credit score. When I started doing this full-time I had a tremendous amount of momentum. Much of that has plateaued, and while I could keep it going with constant releases, I have not been able to release content on the bi-monthly basis I had hoped to. Life keeps getting in the way of my retrospectives, and I had promised otherwise.

If you've donated in July and August, ---> I AM OFFERING A FULL REFUND ON REQUEST <---, seeing as you did not end up paying for anything tangible. I am also eliminating the 4K Video goal.

My travel video goal is still a goal, but if you hadn't heard, the VW Bus I had been fixing up was heavily vandalized (by who and for what reason I will never know). It had its tires slashed, and critically, had every single wire in the engine compartment slashed and ripped. I have to start from zero with a new wiring harness. It will be expensive and take forever, not to mention I have no idea how to do it and have to learn on the fly, so that's on the back burner. Especially since I'm moving again, and getting a new part-time job. I wanted the full-time thing to work out, but the whole YouTube attempt was ultimately too fragile to withstand an emotional and financial collapse at the same time. So I'm bouncing back, but I'm bouncing back with a bit of realism-- I need an hourly wage and I'm really, really, really bad with deadlines. Instead of struggling, I'm going to work with these two drawbacks and accommodate them.

If you're frustrated that this is the way it's turned out, you've got my apologies-- I made my best faith effort, but even I think my results are pretty middling. Again, refunds are available for anyone who feels like their investment so far has been misplaced.

If you're still a fan of what I'm doing and want me to keep doing it, your support is always welcome! I'm going to continue doing game videos, travel videos, and I'm introducing an automotive maintenance series called "Clunker Corner". But the videos are going to come out on a time schedule that works better with my practical needs. I love doing these videos, and I'm going to keep it up with the same level of quality and the same ambition to continually improve quality. Just not full-time.

Thanks for watching my videos. That's the main thing people give me, the thing that means the most-- their time. The money is incredible, and it helps me out more than I can express. You don't need to donate for the content to continue, though! It'll flow. I love it too much to do otherwise. But I want to be completely honest about my ability to produce content on a consistent, monthly basis and on that front I'm not quite as well prepared.

Thanks again for everything, whether you donate or not!
