Noah Howell is creating Backcountry skiing trip reports, articles and videos
My 20 year obsession with backcountry skiing has taken me to the summits of many mountains and incredible places all over the world. From deep powder to first descents, link-ups and traverses, I’ve explored the ups and downs, ins and outs of backcountry skiing.

Almost as much as I love skiing, I enjoy sharing my adventures and stories. For ten years my brother and I carried cameras around the backcountry shooting for Powderwhore Productions, where we shared our love of adventure skiing and storytelling.

Since 2007 I've been writing trip reports, articles and sharing my skiing adventures on my blog, noahhowell.com. The blog is a place where I can share the real story the way I want, with lots of photos, plenty of profanity, doused in sarcasm and without editors, word counts, or deadlines.

In opening a Patreon, I'm giving those who enjoy my blog and use it as a backcountry resource, the chance to support it. I'll keep it open to all and free, not locked behind a pay to view site, but if you find value in it you can subscribe.

I'm finding that the new social media platforms aren't as fulfilling as the long form blog format. So, despite the trends I'm doubling down on blogging instead of abandoning it. My hope is to continue exploring the mountains on skis and bringing entertaining reports to the backcountry community.

Thank you for your support.
