No Good Zines are creating Zines

Hi, my name's Mark and I'm a designer/artist/author/zinester in Milwaukee, WI. I fell in love with the art & craft of zine-making in 2018 and it’s taken over a huge chunk of my brain since then.

My debut ZineFest was the 11th annual Milwaukee ZineFest on Saturday April 6, 2019 where I sold 4 brand new zine’s created specifically for that show over the first few months of the year ( a handful of leftovers are now for sale on nogoodzines.com ). This Patreon is about continuing that journey and "publishing" a monthly (or at least bi-monthly) zine to keep putting my work out into the world and keep pace with the processes I've worked out in my run up to the MKE ZineFest.

I work mostly with black & white illustrations, write a mix of poetry & prose, and try to work my love of philosophy and satire into whatever pieces I can.

In the very near future, there are plans to collab with some amazing artist friends and awesome zinesters in the area, and this Patreon will help speed that process up by proving to them we'll get something out of that time and effort (and don't need to wait for the next ZineFest near us).

If you'd like to help us make these awesome things and get updates all along the way, then jump on whatever tier is a fit for you, and I thank you so much for even reading this far down the page. You rock!
Tiers
Get The Updates
$1 or more per zine

Help back the zines writing, illustration, and production. And you'll get all the updates we post along the way!

Get The Zines
$5 or more per zine

At this tier you get a copy of each zine sent to you upon completion! The printing and building will take a little time, so expect the current months zine to ship by the end of the next month (eg: what's created for April will be sent out by the end of May).

Get The Swag!
$10 or more per zine only 10 left

At this super-deluxe, expensive tier, you'd not just get the zines mailed to your door, but I would send along some swag and/or sketches/doodles with each mailing!

Goals
1 of 30 patrons
Hitting this would mean I have as many patrons as I make initial batches of prints for a zine!
