Hi, my name is Molly and I love to tell stories. To get an idea of the kind of person I am, I was the kid who did book reports FOR FUN.
I remember back in elementary school there were queue cards available for us with story ideas and I would write story after story. Sometimes I'd illustrate them. It eventually evolved into creating my own characters and drawing comics about their adventures. In high school, I wrote an epic story that I shared with my friends in installments as they were completed.
When I discovered web comics in the late 90's I dreamed about creating my own comics and posting them online for everyone to see. I eventually teamed up with my friend Betsy to create Amuse Me!, a comic about us and our quest to cure our boredom. After that, I tag-teamed with Wolfe to write and draw a comic called Jack of All Trades. My latest story is Northwind, which is about two angels who get banished to Earth.
The original concept and first several scripts of Northwind were created by my friend Lemmo (of Winter, Lethal Doses, and most recently Blank It). Since then, the story has evolved and I eventually brought in Aja (of True Magic) to add color and an extra layer of awesome to the comics.
These comics have always been and will always be free to read. Unfortunately, that means that any costs - hosting, drawing supplies, hiring a colorist - have come out of my pocket. I won't go into numbers, but it's a big one. My hope with using Patreon is to at very least break even with these costs from now on.
