okay let's face it, this monster of tables and html isn't working in our modern web world. it takes too long to load the site and i KNOW there's better options with css. problem is, i'm not css-literate. for a hundo a week, i'll find someone who is and actually be able to pay them somethin' to fix the site up :O!!!

begin prepping printed book #2

i need to re-scan and touch up 49 pages (issue #2 would compile arcs 2 and 3 into a single book) and redraft the script, plus send it off to get edited and cleared and all that. and this takes time! reaching this milestone means i can prolly do a page a week or so.

the comic that built a roof over my head

if i make 150 per page? this means i can pay the mortgage with the comic. and that? would be SO COOL.

all that and the doctor too

so not only am i able to pay for my home with the comic, i'm also able to (finally) seek out a better doctor and get actual xrays or MRIs or whatever taken of my bad shoulder, and eventually seek treatment for it!

i not only get to ~*sassily sass*~ my mom, but i will probably throw a party or something and invite a bunch of people (read: backers and friends) to ripley's in NYC or something. maybe we'll just meet at the nintendo center and all get coffee. i dunno. we'll figure it out when we get here.

new scanner??

if it's one thing i'm always wrecking, it's scanners. getting paint on them that i can't seem to clean off, scratching the glass, getting superglue on them (don't ask...) or just plain wearing them out. i'd like to keep up with new scanner tech and make sure that i'm using equipment that gets the best quality scans of comics!

so uh if we hit 400 i'll be getting a newer scanner :o ooo aaa~ and if it turns out my current scanner is the best one on the market, heck, my dopey laptop could always use some more memory so it doesn't take me like an hour to clean up the pages, right? ha haaaa!!!

I draw Inhuman! It's an analog scifi comic, which means it requires periodic refills of paint and markers. However, this is the medium I enjoy working in. So it's how I'm doin my comic :V

Pledges (even real little ones!) make a big difference in my daily-weekly-monthly life. The comic will always be free, but I'm the proverbial starving artist. I'm okay with this, but pledges mean I can worry less about paying bills and worry more about making the comic pretty. :>

How often do you update the comic?
Once a week. So about four to five times a month.

Are art rewards recurring?
Yes! For example, if you back at the 5$ level, you get a 5$ level reward once a month.

Do rewards stack?
If you fail to respond to the call for rewards one month you can not have two rewards the next month. Sorry!

What if you don't update for a week? Will I be charged?
You are only charged for weeks I update.

Can I back you for only one month and still get a reward?
Yep! Just let me know you plan to cancel after your first month so that when I do my monthly budget I'm able to plan for that. :>

What if someone tries to scam you?
Patreon is pretty scam-proof. Creators wait until pledges actually process before giving out rewards. Please check this post for more information on what happens if you opt cap your patronage after only one week.

Can you suggest other Patreons for me to back?
