About Omniglot

Omniglot is an online encyclopedia of writing systems and languages that I have been working on since 1998. The site currently contains profiles of 1,300+ languages, 293 writing systems and 550+ constructed scripts. There is also advice about learning languages, and useful phrases and other resources in 320+ languages.

As well as the main Omniglot site, I also run the Omniglot Blog and the Radio Omniglot Podcast, where I write and talk about language-related things, and share some of the tunes and songs I write. Then there's the Celtiadur, a collections of Celtic cognates I'm creating.

All these resources are available to you for free, as is the advice I provide on language learning and other language-related topics. My income comes from advertising, affiliate programs and donations. If you would like to support my work, your donations would be very welcome.

I don't have much to offer you at the moment, other than what's already available, which is quite a bit. I do have Omniglot stickers and pens, though, which I'd be happy to send Patreon supporters who would like them.
