Hello there, my name is Cédric Jouarie, I'm a French director living in Taiwan. I focus mostly on making fiction here (writing, directing, producing) with the production company I run with my wife, Kamomé International.

In my off time, I also develop the "One Minute Postcard" experimental documentary series I started when I moved to Taiwan in 2012. I've been doing this pretty much full time the first year I got here, then moved on to other things, and now I'm back to it.

The idea is to share my love of Taiwan (and other places I go to), as well as my passion for photography, except now the photos are moving. Though my aim isn't to blow anyone's mind by pointing my camera at anything extraordinary or spectacular with this. Quite the opposite actually. I really want to show life as I experience it, as it is, and in real time.

I hope this project will find an echo in you, and you will appreciate my goal to just stop the ever running clock for one minute at a time, and simply enjoy the beauty that is out there and that most people can't (or won't) take the time to look at.

Tell us what you'd like to see as a "Postcard," and we'll gladly comply––plus we'll name you (full name, nickname, or avatar, it's up to you) as a patron of that particular one under an "as requested by" mention.

N.B.: Note that this is all in good spirit, with no contractual binding of any kind, and thus it doesn't make you a co-author or co-creator of said "Postcard." In other words, we'll keep the millions upon millions of $$$ the OMP series generates for ourselves!

We love your love, and in recognition we will scream your name on the rooftops of the world––or Twitter, to save on the plane tickets fare and leave a smaller carbon footprint in the process!
