Add faster, rock-solid streaming of audio and video content
$100 per per episode
I’ll be able to upgrade my hosting to allow faster, rock-solid streaming of audio and video content.
New Podcasting mic!
$300 per per episode
I’ll be able to upgrade to a new microphone to make my Podcasts sound even better. The Heil PR-40 has been on my wishlist for quite a while now, along with the mic boom to make it SO much easier to work the keyboard on computer, read my cheat sheet of notes, and keep the mic out of the way at the same time.
Podcasting mics for my regular guests + LIVE streaming of audio
$500 per per episode
At the $500 milestone, I’ll be able to buy microphones for my regular guests so that we’ll ALL sound great, and I’ll start streaming the Podcast LIVE so people can listen in as we record the show!
Add video to my Podcasts and stream it LIVE!
$1,000 per per episode
Whoa!  This would be awesome... At the $1000 milestone, I’ll add video capabilities to my Podcasts so you can see as well as hear us.

Aloha, everyone. I’m Stuart Yoshida, host of the OokTown Podcast. About three years ago I was inspired to make a talk show dedicated to the ukulele, and my listeners tell me that there’s nothing else like it on the Internet. I’ve been really gratified to hear how much people enjoy what I do, and all the while I’m having fun doing it. How can you NOT have fun when you’re talking about the Happiest Instrument on Earth?

Mic check: Why am I here on Patreon?
I’m very fortunate to have a job that covers my basic living expenses. But I don’t have a lot of disposable income to help me achieve my vision for the OokTown Podcasts. By becoming a Patron you make it possible to reach my goals.

Take the Power Back: What will I do with your Patronage?
Here’re are all the cool things I can do with your contributions:

At $100 per episode I’ll be able to upgrade my hosting to allow faster, rock-solid streaming of audio and video content.

At $300 per episode I’ll be able to upgrade to a new microphone to make my Podcasts sound even better.

At $500 per episode, I’ll be able to buy microphones for my regular guests so that we’ll ALL sound great, and I’ll start streaming the Podcast LIVE so people can listen in as we record the show!

At $1000 per episode, I’ll add video capabilities to my Podcasts so you can see as well as hear us.

Here’s how to become a Patron:  In the upper left-hand corner you enter in any amount you wish to give and click “become a Patron.” You enter your payment information, and about every time I release a new Podcast, you’ll automatically “tip” me for the amount you’ve set. I make about one Podcast a month, but you can also set the maximum amount you’ll give each month.

Freedom: In Conclusion
Because of you, I’ll be able to continue to “talk story” about the Happiest Instrument on Earth!

Even if you can’t afford to tip me on Patreon, I’ll continue to make my Podcasts free to you on OokTown.com and on iTunes, because I love doing the Podcasts and people love listening to them.

Thank you SO MUCH to all my OokTown Podcast listeners!
