A new mic
Right now we have one microphone and we huddle underneath one of Cher's infinity scarves to isolate our sound. With a second mic, we will be able to control our sound a bit better, and do our show off site if needed!
About
We create a podcast called Open Ended where we discuss the human side of technology!

As friends for many years, we've always wanted to start a podcast, the hardest thing to figure out is what to talk about. We wondered far and wide what we could discuss, and then it landed.
With technology discussions, three things are usually missing: conversations that don't go over people's heads, and the voices of women and people of color.
That's when Open Ended was born.
Cher's background is in radio and science, while James' is in design and art. Both of us are avid tech enthusiasts and users, and we planned Open Ended to be an outlet for our grips, workflows, and day to day life with a technical bent. The show features occasional interviews, experiemental storytelling, and conversations that feel more like a family reunion and less of a conference keynote.
Through the support of Patreon donators, we can move Open Ended from a bi-weekly endeavor to a weekly show, purchase a second mic (so we don't have to huddle under a scarf and share a mic), and get that warm and fuzzy feeling from supporting two people who create art and entertainment. How great is that?
P.S.: While you are here and read all the way down to the bottom, check out the page to support the newsletter, The Studio Visit, by one of the hosts of Open Ended, James T. Green.
