There are certain things that are natural to me. Art and Engineering are two of them. I love to do hands-on stuff, be it programming, or digital abstract painting, 3d rendering, or contributing as a developer or an artist to open source projects.
I am a technologically and artistically multi-versatile person, and a bifurcator. While this can be a good thing, it also forces one(-self) to constantly change focus and is the reason why I contribute to many different open projects and activities socially, artistically, and technically. You may visit my openTeq blog or deviant art page for samples of my works.

All my contributions are open in the sense of being part of humanity's common heritage. It is my vision and my share to creating a more humane society.

While this approach is a continuous enterprise and nowadays does not satisfy my Maslow’s hierarchy of needs level one, I am certain that this is the correct (as in: delivering expected results) way to go.

And we all, me and you, have our share to partake in this endeavor, for example by directly supporting developers of libre software instead of buying proprietary closed source solutions, or by simply refusing to participate in the noxious abusive predatory economy.

As for my case, please do support me here on Patreon, if you agree that it is important to contribute to positive change and you do like my various ways of contributing to our common human lineage.

My wish is to be able quit bifurcating and dedicate all my effort to a common good in the near future.

Further below are listed some of my past and present contributions. It is my prerogative to make at least one open contribution per day (even if it is just an unreleased change on a test system, an ongoing artistic creation, or picking up and transporting rubbish from the street floor to the rubbish bin).

Notable open projects I am or have been maintaining or contributing to:

**Society**

**Art and Creation**

  • Space3D (web hosting discontinued by provider, to be reinstated on openTeq) - scripts for creating planetary textures
  • Deviant Art Gallery - digital abstract art, 3d rendering, photography
  • Web page development - various pages for friends, family, and social causes
  • Digital artist's portfolio (CD only) - for a befriended contemporary artist

**Free Libre Open Source Software**

**Gaming on Linux**

I love what I do and I do what I love

I do everyday work for the benefit of society.

What you get:

You may drop me a note if you have a particular wish for a particular contribution from my side, for example

- open street mapping specific amenities in you vicinity

- posting about a particular technological open source solution

- anything else that falls within my competence (see my main page)
