I'm building a website about climate change and the environment. Though I haven't always been concerned about global warming. In fact, my website began as a lifestyle blog. How I went from writing about shampoo to learning about glaciers and carbon dioxide levels is a long story. I started reading a lot so I would have interesting things to tweet. Can you believe that? Now, I find Earth's climate systems mesmerizing, and I'm worried that people around the globe will experience undue suffering because we lack the will to act.

I published a piece in February 2016 on cotton and climate change in an environmental magazine. And although I plan to publish more articles, I'm driven to create a website where people of all ages and backgrounds can learn more about climate change and how Earth's climate systems work. But I also want to have some fun with darning tutorials and other projects that make better use of our natural resources. Did I mention that I used to be a textile artisan?

I have big plans for my website and would love for you to join me on this great adventure!

Come join my community of supporters! You don't have to contribute financially to view my posts. But for as little as $1 or more per month, you can become a patron. This gives me time to bring my dream—building a website about climate change and the environment— to fruition. You can check out my work at owlinthewood.com.

At least once a week, I'll share sneak previews of upcoming blog posts and keep you updated on my short- and long-term goals. I'll also share ideas that I'm not likely to post on my website, just yet. This content is free. But if you do choose to become a patron, any amount from $1 or more will be greatly appreciated! Join me as I build a website that inspires people to value one another and nature!

This keeps my weekly newsletter going. I know this may be hard to believe, but I spend 15-20 hours per week writing these and publish one every Saturday morning. They require a lot of reading and editing but are a pleasure to produce.
