... in 2013 while viewing a picture book about tanks. This led to the idea for this project. This then led to the actual idea of seeing the whole from the technical and constructive point of view. So to speak, the "birth of the idea" on the drawing tables of the engineers and technicians of their time. The achievements of the army, navy, and air force have shaped the progress of each epoch in both good and bad, and have left their mark on history. Who does not know the images of the first biplanes or tanks that wielded a whole new kind of warfare over Europe's battlefields? Enabled by engineers who used their imagination and ingenuity to draw new designs on their drawing boards. Now 100 years have passed since this time and we can find the pictures in history books.

In the beginning there were many ideas, but the right implementation should turn out to be a tough nut to crack. Sometimes months went by when the project rested and one did not know if and how to proceed. A lot of tasting with the right optical design and especially the structure of the overall design area characterized the next months. But now we have found a project image that we want to expand in the future.

The main area will cover the years 1871 - 1945. We focus on the German sphere of influence first and foremost. Whether it is the German Empire, the Weimar Republic or the Third Reich. From the pistol for the infantryman to the aircraft of the Air Force, we will cover everything. But we will also honor topics such as medals or the aces among the soldiers in our motives. Internationally, we will then also deal with the war opponents and allies. Be it the first "tanks" of the English in the First World War or the "Flying Fortress" of the Americans in the Second World War. Our scene motifs, which we have been offering since the end of 2017 (a big thank you to our 3D Artist in Greece) and are constantly expanding, give us the opportunity to switch from a technical drawing to an authentic scene that might have existed once. But we would like to present to our prospects and customers another exciting field of interesting motifs.

In the secondary area we will look at the developments from 1945 until today (Bundeswehr, NVA, International). The beginnings of the Leopard tank up to the tank howitzer 2000 and the drone fleets of the future. What happened behind the "Iron Curtain" in the territory of the GDR. What developments were driven forward in the "Cold War", which did not make it beyond the status of the prototype.

The future will bring many interesting motives. Whether modeler, military or technology freak, everyone should be able to find something for themselves. And if not for yourself, then you certainly know someone who can make you happy with our motives.

Sincerely yours
panzerblog :)

By the way:

For 2019 our online shop is in planning. We expect the opening in the second half of the year. Until then, we have set up a transition shop at ETSY. A small selection.

A first step
$5 or more per month

Before we start with a technical drawing, it is time to gather information. Very many of them. Whether visual or technical information. We would use the money for that. Thanks to all who support us.

The final step
$10 or more per month

Our 3D motif scenes, that's what I call it, is another step in visualization. In cooperation with our 3D artist from Greece. Very time consuming, technically highly sophisticated and also very expensive from the labor costs. We also want to expand this area in the future. Thanks to all who want to support us in it.

Goals
$0 of $200 per month
Our in-house library of many technical information books on military vehicles, planes, ships and more has grown in recent years. Everyone knows that textbooks are quite expensive. This would allow us to gather our information faster.
