I have been a maker all my life, but after walking away from the office grid, I would like to dedicate myself to making the art I love, full time.
And what is the art I love? It's about repetition and nature, order and disorder, perfection and mutation. I do this with stitch, small pieces of thread and fabric, using repetitive and organic processes to build complex forms using simple but malleable rules.
I'm still building my artistic style and voice. I want to immerse myself in this process, to create works that resonate with my inner vision.
Someone older, wiser and more knowledgeable than I recently suggested I document my work. I already make/stitch/explore almost every day, but I currently record very little of this beyond the finished objects.
This year, I aim to change that, and begin a discipline of documentation. Every day that I stitch, I will also record: my exploration goals, materials, techniques, successes and failures. I will record all of this here.

Purchase some video gear. When I reach $50 a month I will buy some gear so I can make nice video content: a tripod, some basic lighting/lightbox gear. Then I can make some great videos showing how I make things.
