Hello. I’m Paul Osbourne, and I started the Party Games podcast back in 2015 to follow what we thought would be an “interesting” time in British politics. Which turned out to be a rare accurate prediction.

Since then, together with my colleague Robert Meakin, we’ve covered two general elections, one EU referendum, two prime ministers, countless scandals and resignations, and even found time to occasionally be rude about Donald Trump, across more than 100 episodes.

Surprisingly, several thousand people are now regular subscribers to the podcast - and some have even said nice things about it.

But the truth is that researching, writing and editing it takes quite a long time, and I’d like to be able to take it further. And that’s where you come in.

For now, this is a kind of tip jar. If you enjoy the podcast, and think it’s worth a tip, we’ll gratefully receive it. Down the line, I’m hoping to expand what we do and offer more exciting and tangible rewards than a general warm feeling. For now, warm feelings and gratitude are on offer.

And, be honest, who doesn’t want to feel good about themselves occasionally? Even Theresa May wants to feel good about herself occasionally. And imagine how disappointing that must be for her.

The tip jar

Literally a tip jar. Like a busker’s open guitar case. If you actually think the podcast is worth throwing a coin our way, this is the way to do it, and earn our endless gratitude.

The bottomless coffee pot
$3 or more per month

The podcast is basically fuelled by coffee. Maybe you’d like to buy us one of those coffees. Again, for now, warm fuzzy feelings are pretty much all that’s on offer here. Plus the certainty we’re awake while editing the podcast.
