Wow! You guys are great! This is exciting!
My Old High School Movies
I'll put a bunch of the movies I made in high school online (only for Patrons to see). These are super embarrassing so understand that this is a huge gesture of gratitude. You'll get to see what a lot of the people in our videos (such as Matt) looked like in 2005.
Behind-the-Scenes Videos
We've done a few behind-the-scenes videos, but only for really big projects. If we reach this we'll start making one for EVERY regular video we make!
Podcast?
We'll launch a podcast. No clue what it will be about, but we'll figure it out.
What if Garry Marshall Directed Justice League
This is an idea we've had that we can't pull off without a pretty big budget. Imagine New Year's Eve or Valentine's Day, but with the whole Justice League of America in a romantic comedy. If we reach this, we'll finally be able to make it.
About
I am a filmmaker and I use my filmmaking abilities to make YouTube videos with the help of my amazing friends (they are better at acting and more attractive than me).

HELLO THERE AND WELCOME TO OUR PATREON
As it says at the top of the page, I’m Patrick Willems, and along with my team of Matt Torpey, Jake Torpey, and Mike Curran (plus many other regular collaborators) I’ve been making YouTube videos since 2011. They’re weird, silly, cinematic shorts that usually riff on movies and comic books. Did you see “What if Wes Anderson Directed X-Men?” That was us.
WHY DO WE HAVE A PATREON?
These videos all cost money to make, and for the past four years the budget has come entirely out of my own pocket. This is like a full-time job that I pay money to do. But that’s okay. I didn’t get into this to get rich.
Last year we started a series called “Alternate Universe Comic Book Movies,” which you might know as the “What if [____] directed [____]” videos. These are the most popular things we make, but they also happen to be the most expensive. Superhero costumes cost money, and so does the equipment we rent in order to accurately imitate different directors’ styles. Usually we only make one of these every 5 or 6 months, but we want to change that to about one a month (with lots of other videos in between).
You like watching these videos and we like making them, and we want to do a lot more of them. That’s where you come in. The money you pledge will become the budgets for the videos. We’re not asking you to pay us for making these videos. We’re asking you to help us make them. And obviously, the more money we raise, the cooler the videos will be.
WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?
Whether or not you donate, you still get to watch the videos. They will always be free. But if you DO donate, you get all sorts of cool stuff. To start, there’s exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and if you donate a bit more, we will actually mail you stuff like t-shirts or comics drawn just for you!
ANYTHING ELSE?
Nope! Thanks for reading this far! We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works, and we will be eternally grateful if you can help make it happen!
