When my art stills your mind enough that you let go of your suffering, then I will have succeeded.

Milestone Goals
1 Milestone Goals
reached
Two Drawings
$300 per healing image
When I reach this goal, I will select 2 winners, each of whom will receive a 12x18 infused aluminum print of any image in my portfolio (or $375 toward something else).
Monthly Give-Away
$400 per healing image
Once I reach $400 in support, I will start doing Monthly Drawings, and one patron each month will win a 12x18 infused aluminum print (or $375 toward something else).
16x24 Aluminum Print Give-Away
$500 per healing image
When I reach this goal, I will give away a 16x24 (or equivalent) infused aluminum print of any image in my portfolio (or $625 toward something else).
Marketing Manager
$750 per healing image
The truth is, I'm already seeking out help with my marketing efforts, but my budget constraints make this a tricky proposition. My milestone goal of $750 in patron support will make it much easier for me to properly compensate someone to help me get the word out about my art and the services I provide to hospitals and care facilities.
Drawing: 20x30 infused aluminum print (or $850 toward something else).
WWW
$1,200 per healing image
Instead of just a page on my website, the Healing Art Cart program needs its own dedicated website. When I reach this goal, I will hire the help I need to make that happen. This is a big milestone goal, so I'll make it well worth your while . . .
Drawing: 24x36 infused aluminum print (or $1,250 toward something else).
If You Build It . . .
$4,500 per healing image
I've secured strong interest from Legacy Emanuel Hospital to pilot the Healing Art Cart program in the Oregon Burn Center. It's been approved by the unit manager, as well as various committees . . . all we need is the funding to make it happen. Not only will we hammer out the last details, but thanks to Legacy's strong health research team, we can likely also conduct in-house studies to show exactly what kind of benefits this program provides (and this will be crucial for getting other hospitals on board). Reaching this goal will allow me to bring something to the table so we can get started right away.

How It Works:

As a patron, you can pledge a “per-creation” amount that feels right for you.  You'll be charged at the end of each month based on how many new images I post in my Art For Healthcare gallery. I will generally post between 1 and 4 new images each month , but you can also set a monthly maximum if you have a budget you'd like to stay within.

Where Your Money Goes:

I am using the generous support of people like you to keep the lights on while I create art and establish programs that will benefit people in healthcare settings.  The only images that I will collect for are those that align with the principles of  Evidence-Based Art research.

My biggest and most ambitious project is the Healing Art Cart program, which gives long-term hospital patients the opportunity to choose art for their own hospital rooms.  I've already received approval to pilot this program in the Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel Hospital here in Portland, but it's taken more than 18 months to get that far, and we are still in the process of securing funding to make it happen.

If you'd like to make a larger one-time contribution, or if you have skills you'd like to donate, please get in touch through my website. My current wish list includes help with:
  • Corporate sponsorship
  • Web development
  • Promotional video creation
  • Graphic design
  • Branding & brand strategy
  • Public show-room/gallery space
  • Introductions to managers at other hospitals or care facilities that may be interested.

Thank you so much for your support!
