Peregrina

is creating inspirational stories, wisdom & guidance from life as a nomad

As a creative nomad, I have spent 5 years (and counting) wandering the globe in search of stories, knowledge and wisdom.

Last year, while walking the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile trail across Spain, I learned the word for a female pilgrim: peregrina.

Like the falcon, I migrate. From tundra to tropics, I hunt far and wide.

The next chapter of my creative journey is to share what I have learned with my community.

I am meant to do this through speaking, writing and guiding.

Off-grid creative basecamp — Yukon Territory, Canada

What am I creating?

My goal is to write 3 books:

  1. A collection of anecdotes and photographs from my time working as a glacier guide in Southeast Alaska
  2. A guide to earning respect as a leader in life and business
  3. A memoir. People often tell me: “You need to write a book about your life.” (see below CV)

To promote my creative work, I will be traveling the globe to speak at conferences and institutions, teach workshops for creatively-minded organizations, and write for inspiring publications.

Why Patreon?

In ancient times, when a pilgrim arrived in a village, she would receive food, shelter, and water. In exchange, she would share her gifts—stories, knowledge and wisdom.

The modern interpretation of this concept is Peregrina, and the platform is Patreon.

You are here because something about my story beckoned you. Maybe you're looking to be part of something bigger. Maybe wanderlust is calling your name. Or perhaps you simply want to experience this lifestyle vicariously.

Whatever the reason, you belong here—in this flock, and in this community.

This work does not pay for itself. That is why I am asking for your support. I have built a lifestyle based on the principles of minimalism so that I may offer these gifts to my community while living with as small a footprint as possible.

Patreon is a way I can continue offering my creative gifts, and build a community which will help support me along my journey.

With Gratitude,

I invite you to explore the funding tiers and goals, and look forward to welcoming you to our Patreon community.
