Pawn
$1 or more per month 0 patrons
Pawns are the soul of chess. :)  If you just want to support the podcast a bit, but aren't so interested in benefits, this is a nice way to do so. The "pawn tier pledge" receives:

  • My gratitude!
  • access to Patron only polls, (re guests, music, features, etc.)

$1 a month doesn't sound like much, and won't yield you a ton of Perpetual Perks, but know that if every Perpetual Chess listener donated $1 month, Perpetual Chess would a thriving, healthy podcast, with sufficient funds for upgrading audio quality and occasionally travelling for interviews. :)

Up the exchange!
$2 or more per month 66 patrons
(AKA the Perpetual Patron tier)

As appreciation for an "Up the Exchange" tier pledge you receive:

the same gratitude and poll access as the "pawn" tier receives, PLUS

  • Advance notice of guests and the opportunity to send in questions for guests.

Bishop!
$3.50 or more per month 13 patrons

As appreciation for the "Bishop" tier pledge you receive:  All of the benefits of the "Up the Exchange" tier, PLUS

  • Access to the archive of Chess and Books with Fred Wilson, featuring old interviews with GMs Bisguier, Ashley,  Soltis, Kaidanov, IM Dvoretsky and many many more

Rook
$5 or more per month 85 patrons
(AKA Perpetual Partners)

Rooks are huge contributors to the show's health, and they get the following perks:

  • All of the benefits of the Bishop tier (including access to Fred Wilson's interview archive),  PLUS
  • Named on closing credits of the podcast
  • Name/Business listed on https://www.perpetualchesspod.com/partners/
  • Patron only polls, (re guests, music, features, etc.)
Queen and King
$10 or more per month 0 patrons
Are you the most powerful or the most important? I don't know, but I appreciate you either way. 😀

At the "Queen and King" level tier, you get all of the prior benefits, plus you get moved to the top of the list in the closing credits, and more benefits may be forthcoming. (LMK if you have ideas)
