Philosophy Without Borders is a small cosmopolitan community of people, widely distributed in space and across time-zones, connected by the internet, who are pursuing philosophy together as a full-time, lifetime calling.

Philosophy Without Borders’s two basic aims are:

  • to enable and support the pursuit of philosophy, worldwide, and
  • to create and share original works of philosophy freely available to anyone, anywhere.

Philosophy Without Borders creates EIGHT different types of philosophy, EACH of which is available for UNIVERSAL FREE SHARING.

In turn, UNIVERSAL FREE SHARING is what we mean by TRULY OPEN ACCESS to philosophical works, and more generally to intellectual, artistic, socially beneficial, and/or politically significant content of any kind; our only further request is that users of our works explicitly acknowledge us as the original creators of them.

1. For those interested in GENERAL PHILOSOPHY, there's THE RATIONAL HUMAN CONDITION, a five-volume series on the nature of human rationality in a thoroughly nonideal natural and social world.

2. For those interested in THINKING CRITICALLY AND REFLECTIVELY ABOUT CONTEMPORARY ISSUES, there's Philosophy Ripped From The Headlines!
