About Photojournalism Hub

PHOTOJOURNALISM FOR ACTION-CHANGE

Photojournalism Hub holds the vision of a world free of social injustice and human rights abuses. Photojournalism Hub works in:

  • Promotes photojournalism and the advancement of independent journalism to expose and engage the public to social justice and human rights abuses.
  • Trains in photojournalism to empower disadvantaged, marginalised individuals and communities to tell their stories.
  • Fosters cross-border and transnational collaboration in investigative journalism and photojournalism to bring about recommendations and actions for policy change.

Photojournalism Hub was funded from the belief that photojournalism and independent journalism holds the power to drive social action and is an integral tool for human rights and social justice advocacy. Using and disseminating Photojournalism, the Photojournalism Hub raises awareness and leverage of important and pressing social justice and human rights violations.
