About Victoria Pink Pages

Victoria Pink Pages is a free online publication and listing service for LGBTQ2+ content, specializing in local Victoria and Vancouver Island events, businesses, and culture. After noticing that Victoria doesn’t have a publication for the local LGBTQ2+ community, we decided to fill this gap ourselves. We publish articles, essays, or reviews, and every year we send our upper tier supporters a handwritten postcard, designed by a local LGBTQ2+ artist!

Who we are

Baylee Woodley is a contributing editor of the Pink Pages Magazine. In her muggle life, Baylee is a grad student in art history studying medieval queer femme folx. After dark, she is Burnina Sparks, a local drag and burlesque performer channeling heretics persecuted in the past.

Jakelene Plan is a contributing editor for PPM. She previously worked for Caitlin Press to help launch Dagger Editions, Canada’s first queer women imprint. In recognition for her work, Jakelene received both the Grant MacEwan Creative Writing Scholarship and the Candis Graham Lambda Literary Scholarship in 2016.

Becky Cory is the lead editor and publisher of the Pink Pages Magazine. By day Becky works to make education more accessible at the University of Victoria. She is also a founder and co-owner of Pink Sheep Media. Becky’s research and areas of practice are critical media, adult education, leadership and creative expression.
