Healthy-Living Television has never been so entertaining! “Cookin’ With Cutty” is a nationally syndicated half-hour family television show, which promotes positive health and nutrition lifestyle choices for children and their parents. Fast-paced, high-energy segments featuring Cutty, Lisa, Blakely & the Kids focus on the benefits of eating well, exercising and being tobacco free. Our mission is to encourage good health, nutrition and fitness habits to children around the world, with the hopes they will carry them into their adulthood. Filmed entirely on location throughout the beautiful Islands of Hawaii, Cookin’ With Cutty informs and educates children, parents and families through the easiest learning method on earth, …FUN!
With 20 years on TV, our fifty or so episodes have been broadcast to an audience of up to one billion people or more, making us one of the most broadcast kids food related TV shows ever. We have had over one thousand kids cast on our show and filmed at over one hundred awesome locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
Since day one, we have remained an "independent production". That is, we are not backed by a studio or large production company. Over the past twenty years, with the help of a few underwriters, friends, family, neighbors and others, we have essentially self funded every episode of our show. We do it because we feel so good about doing our part to make our community, and others, a healthier place to live. With the imminent setbacks to public television, related funding opportunities and the onset of high definition technology, the cost of producing episodes is outpacing our ability as such a small group of people, to self-fund their production. We thought this would be a good way to see if we can begin a movement, by the people, to help bring pro-social television to the world, as we have been doing so for 20 years and counting.
