We are PNG, a livestreaming community made by trans people for trans and nonbinary livestreamers. We provide support to streamers by giving them exposure (for free) and by showing them to a community that's in particular need of content curated to their tastes. That means we are also supporting the viewers too.

Ever have a lot of fun in a stream just for someone to drop the n word or use hate speech at all? Well you don't have worry about that with us. Every one of our streamers follows the ToS and enforces it. Meaning no hate speech against people based on things like race, sex, gender, gender identity, etc. The rules exist but most livestreamers tend not to follow them or define hate so thinly. Considering a lot of people have never even talked to a trans person they aren't typically aware of what language really hurts us.

How does it work?
It's really simple, PNG is a growing community. What we do is something trans people actually want. We want to be comfortable and feel accepted and streamers want to have fun without worrying about hate. So we match the viewing community to the streamers that want each other.

First streamers apply to be PNG Reps through a form we have. Then the owner (Queen Hellcat) goes through it herself. If everything looks alright she adds the PNG member to the PNG Representatives (or reps). After a few simple steps the Rep is then added to a retweet bot and a Discord Live Bot. Then when they go live and post about it both the bots will share those posts with our community automatically.

Now the viewers can check the streamer's about us page, retweet, and now live pages and decide if they want to watch them. More often than not they do. Since these users are all approved and curated from our community our viewers know these streams are safe and fun places for them. You'd be surprised how much of a crutch hateful humor is for some people, you can still be funny without hurting anyone.

Who all is allowed to join?
We allow everyone to join, transgender, nonbinary, cisgender, doesn't matter. Anyone can be supportive so anyone can join. But only trans and nonbinary people can be PNG Reps. The main reason for this is cis people shouldn't be representing trans people. It's like hiring cis actors to play trans people.

What other benefits do you provide?
In general we provide support, all kinds of it. We have the Rep system, tech support, advice, and we have a lot of chats for different subjects. One of which is the trans chat, trans and nb people can talk here privately with other trans people. So you can talk about everything from games to anime to just how your day is going.

We are also looking to implement a few other benefits as our community grows. Soon I want to add a Featured Streamer section where people become the streamer of the month and it's voted on by the community. Then I add them to a channel for that like a sort of hall of fame. Anyone can go in and see "Oh they must be pretty rad".

I also want to make a stream team, a group of our best streamers that get to stream to our channel where the streamers can cross promote. We grow the channel's following together and then we all benefit from it together. Streamers of course get to keep any cash they're donated to their personal donation links.

Donations like bits, subs, and the like will be discussed with our staff and team members and how it's handled will be talked about when the time comes. It's a long way away still. Even if the channel and stream team were to be started today it's would be at least 6 months until any cash from those kinds of donations would be seen.

What do you need money for?
This Patreon is handled by Queen Hellcat, me. So let me break the third person here and quit talking as PNG. We need money for various services that will make PNG better for the community and streamers. At it's absolute most basic, PNG costs me nothing to run. But why stop at "good enough" when I know we can be better?

My first plan is to upgrade our retweet bot. As of right now this bot only retweets posts that are an hour old. Some of our streamers only stream for about 2 hours. Needless to say, the bot isn't satisfactory. So we need to upgrade it so it retweets every 15 minutes. This only cost's 30 dollars a year but I'm unemployed.

Next I want to commission some work. To make the Stream Team work PNG is going to need some official looking graphics. I want to get a banner for our streamers, a header for twitch, offline image, banners for the channel, etc. It'll be pretty costly. I can do half of those things and it'd still be a bit much.

Then I want to buy a website domain so that I can better represent us. Possibly to pay someone to develop the website. If we get all of this stuff finished then community giveaways would be really cool. It'd bring in more community members and provide more incentive to watch or help.

Can you share with us what you're spending the money on?
Of course, I'll post what we spend the cash on as it's spent and share the artwork here. Not everything will have receipts, stuff like the commissioned banners might not. But I'll do my best to provide them.
