#05 Exhaling
Hi guys how are you? What have you been up to? :) It's been snowing a lot in Gentofte, the temperatures going all the way down to -10°C! I always forget how we usually get snow in March, despite of it being the beginning of the spring season. Been taking a lot of walks, enjoying the bright, sunnier days. Dry skin problems aside, I love the feeling of being covered in warm clothing, breathing in the cold. But still, I can't wait for my favorite season to appear! The green grass, the first flowers blooming, the promise of a new beginning!

Zine Color Correcting
So I was so excited to finally received the Zine! Unfortunately, some of the colours were off compared to the originals so I had to asked my Printer to reprint them. He told me that usually he wouldn't make a reprint as it's custom to tell him the importance of the colours being precise from the beginning..BUT as I'm new to this game he'll do it this time. Thank god!

I've been feeling quite uninspired and demotivated the past two weeks. I've been getting into a bad spiral, spending way too much time on social media, constantly comparing myself to others and not feeling like I've developed in my art. Some years ago I let it consume me completely so I pretty much stopped drawing for a year. Luckily, I'm more mindful of it now so I'm doing my best to stay focused. It's seductive, especially when you're in a bad period in your life to just open your phone or computer and flicker through interesting content.

I'm in a chaotic but really good place in my life right now. I'm balancing 3 part time jobs right now (Barista, art teacher and illustrator). I've underestimated how much energy it actually takes to learn when you're new at something haha! I'm so thankful for being in a position where I'm able to be in charge of planning my life now and just knowing that is the biggest stress-relief in the world.

If you're in a chaotic place right now, remember that you're the one in charge of your life. So many expectations from the culture and society we grow up in, or in some cases even friends or family can make it seem like there is only one way of doing things right (you should take this education, you should take this job etc) but it's not. The choice is always yours. Remember to take care of yourself, take your time noticing how you feel, where your interests are and what you want to accomplish in life. Sending all my love your way <3
