Doggie Vet Fund Pet Pack

If you follow me on Facebook you'll know that we rescued a doggie yesterday off the streets. He found us in a petrol garage, where we noticed he had a big gash across the front of his nose. By the time we left the garage he'd wandered off, but a quick drive around in the car and we spotted him nearby rummaging through a rubbish bag on the side of the road. He was very mild and timid, and let Jaco pick him up and put him in the back of the car. We drove him home (fortunately only a five minute drive), walked him through to the back garden that's secured by six foot walls, and left for another 10 minutes to buy dog food. When we got home, he'd gone - presumably jumped over the wall.

We drove around the neighbourhood looking for him to no avail - it was dark and had started raining heavily and we couldn't see much. We came home, hopeful that he'd show up again since we'd fed him and were kind. Around midnight I heard the neighbours' dog barking and opened the front door - and there he was! I put some thick cushions down on the patio for him, we gave him a big bowl of food and he spent the night there. We didn't want to bring him into the house because of all the cats (and he's riddled with fleas and ticks), didn't want to put him out the back again because clearly he didn't like that, and didn't want to secure him not to cause him distress - but he was still there when we got up this morning, yay! He's still here now, too. He's spent most of the day sleeping on his cushions with the occasional wander around the garden and getting brushed by me or Jaco.

I have pictures of the cut on his nose (warning, they're a bit disturbing) - http://imgur.com/a/Bnc7n . I imagine it'll require stitches which will need him to be anaesthatised so we're looking at a potentially hefty vet bill, what with the general lab costs of getting his tests and stuff too. Our vet are great in that they let us rack up large bills (we're still paying off the last kitten we rescued!) and pay them back in installments, but I hate doing it - so, here's a special 'Doggie Vet Fund Colouring Pack'. There are five pages - cats, dogs, paw prints, and a turtle page for the few friends I have who are turtle fanatics.  I'm making it available here rather than on a storefront because I don't want to set a fixed price for it, but would rather give people the opportunity to donate - which you can do here:
