It wasn't horrible! Could use some tweaking, but hit a lot of important points and didn't say "NO RED MEAT EVER."
1/ You sneak a smoke.
DUH. Smoking cigarettes is the worst way to get your nicotine hit imaginable. Use a patch, chew nicotine gum, suck on a lozenge. Just. Don't. Smoke. It also ages your skin faster.
2/ You skip your walk.
BOOM! We all know the power of a good walk, amirite? Get sunlight and fresh air, get off your butt as often as possible!
FWIW, as you probably could've guessed, I would've started this list with something about sleep hygiene: blue blockers and no artificial light at night; sunshine in the morning. Big breakfast around sunrise, light(ish)/early(ish) dinner, and maybe have some lunch in between.
Back to the list:
3/ You snarf an extra cookie.
OK. Overweight, obese, or IR adults: you get to have dessert once or twice a week. Not once or twice a day.
4/ You eat dinner out of a box.
This can be interpreted in a lot of ways, but I'm gonna assume the worst and LOL
5/ You shun your veggies.
Eat like an adult. Even for the low carb crowd, plenty of options available. Leek, onion, MUSHROOMS, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, zucchini, cucumber, pickles, sauerkraut, etc., etc., etc., etc...
6/ You lose your cool.
Yeah, chill out. No need to get angry IRL because someone was wrong online. Relax, go for a walk, turn off your computer. Whatever.
7/ You overdrink.
Some epi studies show 1-3 drinks per day actually reduce mortality risk. That's not overdrinking unless you're a very small/light human. I define that as "moderation," whereas getting drunk is overdrinking.
That's all for now!
